Working in Europe

Rights

All EU and EEA citizens have the right to move to another Member State to live, study and work. This is a legal right. If you are a citizen of one Member State (i.e. you hold a valid passport for that Member State) you are an EU/EEA citizen.

Benefits

Experience of working in another country is likely to be highly valuable for future career prospects as both multicultural understanding and linguistic skills will be increasingly important to employers.  Working abroad gives you the opportunity to discover another culture and acquire real fluency in another language.

If you consider working in another country you will also improve your chances of finding the right job, as you will be accessing a much bigger jobs market.
