SOL - Swiss Occidental Leonardo

As the national information and co-ordination centre on the Leonardo da Vinci programme, SOL provides assistance and counselling to all Swiss organisations interested to participate in the programme as silent partners as well as promotes the development of Leonardo da Vinci in Switzerland.

In 2001, SOL has been charged by the Swiss Federal office for Education and Science to act as a liaison office for Switzerland in the Euroguidance network, in which the association as so far been involved as partner in the ESTIA and On the Move II & III projects.

SOL is also your privileged partner in Western Switzerland for Leonardo training placements - 150 Swiss and European university students and apprentices are being placed by our services each year - and can provide you with information on all kinds of mobility issues in relation to Switzerland.

SOL is administrated by a Committee composed of representatives of vocational guidance and training, universities and the labour market. SOL's activities are supported by the Swiss Federal office for Education and Science as well as by the ACCES (Intercantonal Association for Economic Dialogue and co-operation in Western Switzerland).
